Documents for minor applicants (under 18 years of age) If the child's documents are submitted separately from the documents of his/her parents/parent, then the parents/parent` notarized consent is required for the child to leave the Russian Federation. The consent must be valid from the date of the documents submission and cover all member countries of the Schengen agreement. The consent must not be older than 12 months on the day of the documents submission. Along with the original and a copy of the consent, the original and a copy of the birth certificate are also required. Instead of a notarized consent, you can provide the following:

- copy of the parent's Schengen visa

- parent's death certificate

- notarized certificate from the parent that the location of the other parent of the child is unknown (not older than 1 year);

- certificate from the police that the location of one of the parents is unknown, the parent was not found during the search (no older than 1 year);

- certificate No. 25 that the father's data in the child's birth certificate is entered from the mother`s words;

Attention! Under EU law, a child cannot be entered on a parent's visa. For each child, you must fill out an application form with a photo and provide a full set of necessary documents. A child receives a separate visa. If the child is entered in the passport of one of the parents, the visa is pasted in the passport of this parent. The parent's passport must have one blank visa page in addition for each child entered.

Children under 12 years of age do not need to be fingerprinted.

Fingerprints are not required for children under 12.
